Our latest podcast is a discussion on the relationships between Social Media Marketing and Search Engine Marketing Campaigns. The discussion evolved from an article we both read about the impact of advertising on users of major social media websites like Facebook. According to this article, some 34% of social media site users who are exposed to a particular advertisement are taking their curiosity to a search engine like Google, Yahoo, or Bing to find out more about it.
Our response: this is just more evidence that Social Media Marketing and Search Engine Marketing are very much connected! Obviously, creating marketing campaigns for both social media networks and search engines is more important than ever.
